Understand key concepts of digital citizenship
Understand that whatever they do online leaves a footprint
Introduction to netiquettes i.e. E-safety
Understand the basics of algorithmic thinking and programming
Write basic code
Understand the importance of sequencing in programming
Understand how to use loops and write program
Understand the impact that computers have on our lives
Understand the uses of events

Note: Once the entire “Course A and B” will be completed by students after attempting the
last unit of lesson 12, student will be awarded with the International Certificate by Code.org.

Scratch Junior

Use algorithms and instructions to create animations and games in a programming language
Understand the purpose of Scratch junior
Understand that Scratch is used for programming games and animations
Familiarize yourself with the Scratch program interface
Familiarize yourself with the Paint Editor interface
Add a new background and character
Understand the purpose of coding
Command a character using triggering motion and end blocks
Save a program in Scratch Junior
Edit an existing Scratch junior program
Insert and program multiple characters in an animation
Use the commands of the “Motion” block
Use the commands of “Looks” block
Use the commands of the “Sound” block
Use the commands of the “Control” block
Use multiple blocks to create an animation or artwork
