- Understand key concepts of digital citizenship
- Understand that whatever they do online leaves a foot print
- Introduction to netiquettes i.e. E-safety
- Understand basics of algorithmic thinking and programing
- Write basic code
- Understand the importance of sequencing in programing
- Understand how to use loops and write program
- Understand the impact that computers have on our lives
- Understand the uses of events
Note: Once the entire “Course C and D” will be completed by students after attempting the last unit of lesson 18, student will be awarded with the International Certificate by Code.org.
Scratch 3
- Understand the purpose of the computer program.
- Use algorithm and instructions to create animations and games in a programming
language. - Use block coding techniques to program objects and text.
- Familiarize with the scratch program interface and terminologies.
- Familiarize with the scratch toolbar.
- Add a new sprite.
- Add a new background.
- Understand the purpose of “Script Area”.
- Command a sprite with motion blocks.
- Save a program in scratch.
- Edit an existing scratch program.
- Insert and program multiple sprites in an animation.
- Use the commands of “Motion” block.
- Use the commands of “Looks” block.
- Use the commands of “Sound” block.
- Use the commands of “Pen” block.
- Use the commands of “Event” block.
- Use the commands of “Control” block.
- Use multiple blocks to create an artwork or animation.
