Objectives:
- Understand what robots are.
- Understand what Edison Robot is.
- Understand the sensors, buttons and switches of Edison robot.
- Understand how to connect Edison using EdComm Cable.
- Understand how to use the Ed Mat and the Barcodes chart to make Edison work.
- Program Edison robots using barcodes.
- Understand the interface of EdScratch.
- Setup the programming devices using EdScratch.
- Use the “Drive, LEDs and Sound” functions.
- Program the Edison robot with EdScratchapp.com.
- Use the Wait command.
- Use the repeat loop, forever loop, if-then loop, if-then-else loop.
- Use the obstacle detection, sound sensor and line tracker sensor to program the robot
- Real-world problem-solving and programming
- Future Industry skills, Creativity & Critical Thinking
- Working with direction, speed, distance and sensors.
