  • Code.org (Minecraft Course A and B)
  • Scratch Junior

Code.org (Minecraft Course A and B)

  • Understand key concepts of digital citizenship
  • Understand that whatever they do online leaves a footprint
  • Introduction to netiquettes i.e. E-safety
  • Understand the basics of algorithmic thinking and programming
  • Write basic code
  • Understand the importance of sequencing in programming
  • Understand how to use loops and write program
  • Understand the impact that computers have on our lives
  • Understand the uses of events

Note: Once the entire “Course A and B” will be completed by students after attempting the
last unit of lesson 12, student will be awarded with the International Certificate by Code.org.

Scratch Junior

  • Use algorithms and instructions to create animations and games in a programming language
  • Understand the purpose of Scratch junior
  • Understand that Scratch is used for programming games and animations
  • Familiarize yourself with the Scratch program interface
  • Familiarize yourself with the Paint Editor interface
  • Add a new background and character
  • Understand the purpose of coding
  • Command a character using triggering motion and end blocks
  • Save a program in Scratch Junior
  • Edit an existing Scratch junior program
  • Insert and program multiple characters in an animation
  • Use the commands of the “Motion” block
  • Use the commands of “Looks” block
  • Use the commands of the “Sound” block
  • Use the commands of the “Control” block
  • Use multiple blocks to create an animation or artwork
